    The more I got into the book , the more I liked. Good deduction on the health issues maybe. You right about Palmy N but you never know, back then, it could have been full of tourist buses ?

      Thanks for that. You will recall the uproar when it appeared I might go to Palmerston North for work! That was in the 21st century. What would it have been like in the 1930s? Unimaginable. Glad you liked it.
